Hi, my name is Tara and this is my story...

I started collecting buttons by accident. In December of 2004 I ordered a few items from an online store and received two as a free gift [Fig. 1]. Shortly thereafter, I became aware that they were "everywhere" and cheap too! Thus began the collecting phase. My first purchase was this cute little "blonde girl" [Fig. 2]. A few years passed and one button turned into well over two-hundred [Fig. 3].

I know that many people wear their buttons but I must confess that I never have. I simply collect them, but always knew that "one day" I would do something with them.

Three years later the idea finally hit... Storyboards! Each button has its own history and/or meaning but collectively they tell a story and make great wall art too [Fig. 4]. So, what's your story?
